Server log files and hosting
When you call up this website, your browser automatically transmits technical information to the server, which is stored temporarily in what are known as server log files. In particular, this covers browser type and version, the operating system used, the page previously visited (referrer URL), the host name of the accessing device, the IP address and the time of access.
This data is processed in order to deliver the website technically and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and functioning operation (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log files are stored for a limited period only and then deleted; data whose further retention is required as evidence is exempt from this until the incident in question has been resolved.
This website is hosted by an external service provider, which processes the data mentioned on our behalf as a processor pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. A corresponding data processing agreement is in place with the provider. Provider:

Encryption
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in the address bar and by the padlock symbol in your browser. While encryption is active, the data you send us cannot be read by third parties.
Article 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR
Contacting us
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the details you provide — such as your name, email address or telephone number and the content of your enquiry — solely in order to deal with your request.
The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or the fulfilment of a contract (Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR) where your enquiry is directed at this, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Your details are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

Cookies
This website does not use cookies for analytics, tracking or advertising purposes, and it does not embed any third-party services of that kind. Where technically necessary cookies are used in order to provide the website at all, this is done on the basis of section 25 (2) TDDDG and our legitimate interest in a functioning web presence (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR). No consent is required for this.
Note for the future: as soon as tracking, analytics or map/video services are embedded, this section must be extended and a consent banner will generally be required.
